DIN960 Hexagon Head Bolts with Fine Pitch Thread

DIN960 Hex Head Bolts are partially threaded bolts characterized by fine and extra fine external machine screw threads, where the spacing between fine and extra fine threads is narrower compared to coarse, wider-spaced threads. When coupled with internally threaded holes and nuts, these bolts exhibit similarities to ISO 8765, albeit with certain dimensional variations. They are available in steel grades Class 8.8 and 10.9, with zinc plating serving to prevent rust formation, whereas the plain finish provides no corrosion protection. The thread tolerance for Class 8.8 and 10.9 is specified as 6g for the plain finish and 6h for the plated version; right-hand threads are the standard configuration. Commonly referred to as hex head cap screws, the bolt diameter and length determine the minimum threaded length, which is measured from the underside of the head to the tip. DIN960 Hex Head Bolts bear resemblances to ISO 8765 and JIS B1180. In instances where fully threaded bolts are required, DIN961 should be utilized, whereas DIN931 is preferable for partially threaded coarse threads.
